I just updated QGIS to version 3.2. And noticed that the XYZ Tiles is missing. Are they removing it from QGIS 3, because I couldn't find any information about it? Does anyone know where I can find it or do I have to go back to QGIS 2 to get XYZ Tiles? Here is the screenshot for the current map source screen in QGIS 3.2.

Although it doesn't appear in the "Add Layer" dialog, I can add XYZ tiles from this option in the "Browser" panel:
Right-click to add a new tile server connection, or choose one of the existing ones.
If you don't have a "Browser" panel open, use View... Panels... Browser to get one.
I found it. It is in the tab Browser2. I couldn't find it in Browser so I thought it was removed. Thanks, I appreciate it!

you can also find it in the browser tab of the data layer manager (top icon on the left). This has caught me out too, not sure why XYZ isn't treated the same as the other providers :/

That's weird, it should be in both Browsers. What happens if you create a new User Profile and start QGIS with that?

Yeah, it was odd to me. Thought they removed it or I forgot to install some plugins :D

@Spacedman Same, only appears in Browser2. In QGIS 2 it is in both. Don't know why.
