William Pengelly, founder The Devonshire Association (DA) is a learned society founded in 1862 by William Pengelly and modelled on the British Association, but concentrating on research subjects linked to Devon in the fields of science, literature and the arts. [2] Although similar in format to older groups such as the Plymouth Institution (inaugurated in 1812) and the Devon and Exeter Institution (1813), The Devonshire Association's aims were broader and more ambitious. By 1877, there were around 500 members and this number remained fairly constant until just before the Second World War. Great Moor House, the building that houses the Devon Heritage Centre There are three local archives covering the historic county of Devon, England. The Devon Heritage Centre in Exeter is the main archive. It has a branch office, the North Devon Record Office in Barnstaple (established in 1988), which is the repository for records broadly relating to North Devon. [1] Since 2014 the joint service has been run by the South West Heritage Trust under the name of the Devon Archives and Local Studies Service. In addition, there is the Plymouth and West Devon Record Office in Plymouth, run since 1998 as an independent archive service by Plymouth City Council, which hold records relevant to the area indicated by its name. Cause RAW it mention You SA within 5ft of foe, no ally within 5th of the Rogue, and not disadvantaged. I don't know if these are separate bullet point or all together.
