How to Implement Log rotate for my usecase?

So I have a directory.



Inside the directory I have files coming in.



So at any moment I only need the last 7 days of files and remaining files to be purged.



I am new to Linux .please help me

This adapters works perfect on Windows but I need to use on my development machine based on Ubuntu 16.04.
