I would like to setup two FTPs
on the same server using very secure FTP daemon VSFTP
. I have two ethernet cards on the same server.
First VSFTP
has been setup and it is working perfectly, however when I set up the second VSFTP
it gives me the error below:
"VSFTPD DEAD BUT SUBSYS LOCKED"
Would you please advice?
linux ftp vsftpd

Generic comment (without knowing vsftpd): you should include in the question the different setups of your two instances, especially how you dealt with the specific interface or ip for each instance. You can't fire it twice and expect one will choose an interface/ip, and the other one the other interface without specific configuration.
