RAID 1 in the same hard disk

I have prepared the system like this:



1st Hard Disk 1TB:



/boot in 1GB /dev/sda1
/ in 20GB RAID1 md0
/mnt/secure-500G in 459GB RAID1 md1


2nd and 3rd Hard Disk, both 1TB:



/mnt/secure-1T in 1T RAD1 md2


The system runs well, but I don't know if it has sense to mount RAID in the same disk in different partitions, and I'm making extra write for nothing.
