Scanner CanoScan LIDE400
Clash Royale CLAN TAG#URR8PPP
I am working on Ubuntu 18.10. I connected a CanoScan LIDE400 from Canon and installed the drivers (ScanGear for Ubuntu) with the "Terminal". I went to the correct directory and put this command-line: sudo ./install.sh.
I rebooted my computer and tried to use XSane-gscan2pdf-SimpleScan and... no chance. Those software are not able to recognize the LIDE400.
What can I do to use my scanner?

You may need to install some udev rules so that the device is read/writeable by your user ID. I'm assuming it's an USB device? You could also trylsusb
to find it, you can then dosudo chmod 666 /dev/bus/usb/busnumber/devicenumer
, replace busnumber and devicenumber with the numbers from the lsusb ouput.
