So basically, I was trying to install something and it said that I had a broken package and I opened pkexec synaptic which said that the broken package was: gnome-settings-daemon. Anyways, after I marked It, I clicked applied and it seemed like it was going to upgrade it but the installation failed and since then my network connection is not working. I keep getting disconnected from the Ethernet network even though it used to work fine.
