I'd like to know how well Windows Subsystem for Linux deal with GUIs.

I'd like to use Window Maker in Windows 10 on WSL. Is that too much to ask?

I know that WSL is not meant to run desktop environments like Gnome or KDE. However, WM is only a window manager, and not a DE proper. I also got word that some GUIs can run on it (for example Synaptics).

I assume that an emulator running on Windows would perform better than one running on Linux (like Wine), but where's the limit?
