How to synchronize subtitles with Subtitle Composer?

This is easy for me with Gnome Subtitles (gnome-subtitles):
- selecting a subtitle line from the beginning that corresponds to the present video frame, and going to Timing>Synchronize>Add, adding a sync point, then selecting Close,
- doing the same at the end but selecting Apply
- saving the subtitle
Subtitle Composer (subtitlecomposer) is not only more complex (and has some advantages that I like - fullscreen video, much better video seeking), but has a Qt GUI, and I am in LXQT, so I would prefer to use it instead of Gnome Subtitles.
Only, I do not know what are the similar steps that would reproduce those actions described above.
Are there such simple steps available?
