fsck says that i_blocks is double the size it should be

I've got lines like this in my ext4 /home partition (no backups, stupid stupid me, though I don't think there's any data loss):
Inode 6031335, i_blocks is 16, should be 8. Fix(y)? yes
Should I be saying yes to this? Why is it always exactly double, even for numbers like 304, should be 152?
