WRONG KEY BEHAVIOUR (just in case of symbols) [closed]

It was all working fine for sometime but them pressing symbols started producing wrong results like hashtag(#) produces euro symbol .
I have checked key board layout.
Then I typed a code sudo loadkeys uk. Then it showed that cannot find symbols/uk in any known directory
