I would like a script that downloads files every x minutes and remember which files it has downloaded. I found this similar question; LFTP Script to Download Files

The problem is once the file has downloaded from the source it needs to remain at the source, however once hitting the target, it will be deleted from that folder.

So, if it downloads from the source, then gets delete from the target, I would assume that the script will simply download the same file, over & over.

I haven't been able to find anything that specifically covers this scenario on this site or Google. I apologise if I missed something. I am not great with scripts, but, am thinking I may be able to use the above example script, then combine it with a parameter that checks for an existing file in a download log? However, I am just not sure if 1) that can work and 2) how I would go about doing it.

Thanks for reading & I appreciate any help you can offer :)
