is there a way to install a linux like CentOS7 from a PXE bootserver on a usb stick?
The linux should be a readonly system on a stick.
I have a bootserver and I can boot or install from this server.
The root filesystem, the kernel and the initramfs of the linux are on the bootserver.
I think, I have to manipulate the initramfs to copy the root filesystem from the server to the usb stick and to set the fstab to boot the root filesystem. But I'm not sure.
Can somebody help me?
