How does one change the corner of ChromeOS notifications?

I have a Google Pixelbook and often find myself typing near the bottom-right of a terminal or editor, then get barraged by messages that pop up in the bottom-right of the screen.
This obscures my view and throws me off what I was typing. Is there anyway to set the notifications to appear along the top of the screen instead?
