How do I get a standard list of US holidays for use with pcal?

I've been using the pcal
command for ages. I use it to print full-page monthly calendars on my printer, which I then fill in with events and appointments and so forth. Lately I've been frustrated that everyone else seems to know when a three-day weekend is coming up before I do, or when the clocks change for daylight savings, and so on. Then I saw that pcal supports a configuration file in which I can enter a list of holidays, which will get printed out on the calendar it generates. There are some examples in the manual page, with Thanksgiving and Memorial day, but I couldn't find a full list of standard holidays. I live in the US so that's my specialty, but I had thought there would lists for all locations as with the calendar
utility. Unfortunately pcal doesn't seem to allow the 'calendar' files to be used as input, only output. Where do other pcal users get their holiday data?

Could you rework this to something shorter?
