I'm trying to share a folder between my Debian based OS to a guest Windows installed on KVM, the steps I did:

Right click on folder

Then I clicked ‘Properties’

Then I clicked ‘share this folder’

Then I clicked on ‘allow other to create…’
and ‘guest access’ check-boxes.

Then I clicked ‘create share’

I got this message :‘net usershare’ returned error 255: net usershare add: failed to add share share. Error was Operation not permitted

How to fix this?

share
