resolution get reset after reboot in arch linux

I installed Arch Linux in VMware following this guide.
And then I found that the display resolution will be reset to 800*600 every time after I reboot the system.
I had no idea about that and then after a searching, I installed many many packages to revolve this problem, but finally, they all didn't work.
Have you ever encountered the same situation?
