Can't switch layout with Win + Space after enabling extra typographic characters

I'm not sure if it is Mint specific (Mint 19, Cinnamon), but after enabling extra typographic characters feature in keyboard settings I can't switch layouts with hotkeys. I tried left win, shift + ctrl and few others and they work, however I'm used to win + space.
