Wrong root partition mounted

I have copied my root partition so that I can make it bigger and I want to delete the old partition but the Arch Linux on the new partition is still mounting the old partition as /. I have checked the /etc/fstab/
file but there is nothing being mounted to / in there

Check your kernel parameters in grub.cfg as fell.
