Not connecting to wifi

Hi first of all thanks for helping me
Yesterday when i turned my laptop on the wifi icon was disappeard so I cheched setting and See an error[NetworkManager needs to be running]
So i tried
Sudo /etc/init.d/network-manager start
But it said(failed because the control process exited with error code
networkmanager.service statuse
