Can I create my own command in python?

Suppose I have command like cd abc/def, So I want to create own command like 'a'.



If I run 'a' command it ,should run command cd abc/def

So could it be possible and I want to use python as scripting language

This adapters works perfect on Windows but I need to use on my development machine based on Ubuntu 16.04. I find this on git hub: https://github.com/fresco-fl2000/fl2000 and try to install it but installation fail. Can anyone help me regarding this?
