This is happening on my Sony vaio fit laptop. The curious part is that I tried to boot kali from a USB, put the computer into sleep mode, and then same thing happened, so I know it's not a corrupt OS. I run a dual-partition on the laptop, win10 and ubuntu. The login screen glitch occurs about 90% of the time, 10% it actually works as expected. Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be causing it?
Thanks!
