I am starting learning shell-scripts,
I have a question haunting over my mind,
Should I learn gawk
or learn to solve problem with a gawk
thinking, before I am not familiar with the coreutils.
some of my questions are answered with a gawk
solution which is awesome but somewhat difficult to read.
I have the worry because, gawk
not use the native structured commands of if decisions
for iteration
or function name()
to tackle problem.
It seems not a good choice to take it prematurely.
