I need some help, for some reason a Solaris 5.8 Zone, can't be accessed. Neither thru ssh/telnet or console using zlogin -C zonename
If I try to use zlogin zonename I get the following error:
[Connected to zone 'zonename' pts/7]
/.SUNWnative/usr/lib/64/s8_brand.so.1: not found.zlogin: exec failure: No such file or directory
[Connection to zone 'zonename' pts/7 closed]
If I use the console option I get this error
INIT: Command
"exec /usr/lib/saf/ttymon -g -h -p "`uname -n` console login: " -T sun -d /dev/console -l console -m ldterm,ttcompat"
failed to execute. errno = 2 (exec of shell failed)
This is all I see during the connection. Never got an option to put my username.
The zone is a production server and so far the application that is in it, is working fine. I would not want to restart the zone. Is there anything else that can be done or check?
As for the file that is looking, I don't see this route
/.SUNWnative/usr/lib/64/s8_brand.so.1
but I does exist on this route.
root@ldom# ls -l /usr/lib/64/s8_brand.so.1
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root bin 136848 May 5 2015 /usr/lib/64/s8_brand.so.1
Not sure if its suppose to be a symbolic link or what.
Any help appreciated
