I am trying to install xfce-menu-edit-0.8, but when I run ./configure it exits with this error message:

checking for xfce-mcs-manager >= 4.0.0... Package xfce-mcs-manager was not found in the pkg-config search path. Perhaps you should add the directory containing `xfce-mcs-manager.pc' to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable No package 'xfce-mcs-manager' found

configure: error: Library requirements (xfce-mcs-manager >= 4.0.0) not met; consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if your libraries are in a nonstandard prefix so pkg-config can find them.

I tried

sudo apt install xfce-mcs-manager

but there isn't any such packet in the repository. I also tried googling for xfce-mcs-manager but haven't found anything that could help me solve my problem. So, what is this library and which package(s) do I have to install?
