I have been getting this message in my syslogs for quite a while. It happens for three machines that are used as Squid3 proxies and we see these multiple times a second.
While processing an AS request for target service krbtgt,
the account <REDACTED> did not have a suitable key for generating a Kerberos
ticket (the missing key has an ID of 2). The requested etypes were 3. The
accounts available etypes were 23 -133 -128 18 17.
Is there anyway to get these machines to use different etypes? Or, does anyone know what this problem is or at least how I would go about diagnosing it?
I though it had something to do with Centrify, which we use to connect these machines to the domain so that we can log in with AD credentials, but now I'm thinking it might be something wrong with msktutil, kinit or winbind/net or whatever was used to set these up.
Thanks.
