I need to temporarily bring my Ubuntu server and my Manjaro laptop on the same Internal network. I also want to try out wireguard, so I think this is good opportunity.
The Ubuntu server has a static, public IPv4 address, while the laptop has a dynamic private IPv4 address, as it is behind the ISPs NAT. It should matter that it has a dynamic address though, as the setup is temporary.
I tried following the video guide
but I seem to miss something. I wonder if it requires both peers to have public IP for this to work. Can somebody help me with this setup?
