I'm debugging Linux kernel with qemu-kvm & gdb.

I want to send signal to wake up gdb, so I can debug kernel from somewhere I like.

Something like pdb.set_trace() for Python ( Just to clarify my point)

Is there any kernel API I can use to do this for me ?
