How can i minimize boot time ?
I am using Debian 10 with a i7-4600U with 12GB of RAM and a 120GB SSD, UEFI is enabled.
and here's the output of systemd-analyze plot > plot.svg
I know 5 seconds is a good record but I am trying to reduce it even by 1 - 2 seconds.
Edit 1 : I played with /etc/initramfs-tools/initramfs.conf but no significant difference.
Edit 2 : I followed the Debian guide for using EFIStub but that didn't boot.
debian boot grub2 uefi

Compress the kernel + initrd with a faster algorithm, e.g. lz4 or lzo.

@IporSircer thanks, i was able to cut the boot time by 1 second. I am using lz4 compression and efi stub ( using kernel as boot loader ). lz4 didn't make much difference.
