Had Windows 7 and Ubuntu 16.04 side by side working until I tried to re-install Windows and Ubuntu after replace the old hard drives with new ones. Made bootable DVD and USB, after start up, the machine just showed the first purple Ubuntu screen then went black in both cases, the installation just won't start. Formatted my C drive and re-installed Windows, still the same. The same bootable USB drive can start installation on other boxes.
