I have a configuration where two different audio sources go to specific, different, alsa chains. Let's call this chains A and B. At some point the next plugin (custom ladspa plugin) expects to be fed with a two channels stream. One of the channels comes directly from B who is producing a mono channel stream. The other channels should be a mix of output of the chain B (again monochannel) and channel 1 of chain A output (multichannel).
For a better understanding, here it is a schema of what I want to achieve.
I'm aware of this question, however, I do not need to mix all the streams coming from a plugin but just one of the channels. Is there a way an alsa plugin can accept inpout from two diferenciate chains, facilitating this configuration?
For the sake of this question I'm not able to use pulseaudio nor jack, but only alsa.
