I am running SMSTools3 and have two USB Modems I wish to use, I want the first one to run on gsm1 queue and second to run on gsm2 queue.
Device 1 is coming up as:
Bus 002 Device 032: ID 12d1:1506 Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. E398 LTE/UMTS/GSM Modem/Networkcard
When I use lsusb.
But when I connect the second one, it is coming up the same:
Bus 002 Device 038: ID 12d1:1506 Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. E398 LTE/UMTS/GSM Modem/Networkcard
What do I configure to make sure the two don't both have 12d1:1506, I need the second one to use a different number.
Please assist, also if it can be configured to have more than two so I can run up to 5/10 of the same brand and model USB Modem as it works well.
This is fairly urgent, and I appreciate any assisting response.
Can provide further details by request.
