Weird text to .ods convertion

I have a list of dates in the 'weekday month day hour:min:s yr' "squeezed" from a log with grep [...] | cut [...]

redirected to a text file named dates.csv. There are about 3000 lines of text.   • It's just majibaka. Libreoffice is reading text in wrong encoding. I believe your libreoffice is configured in a strange way that it use a non-ascii encoding as default

  • try to cat the file to try, it should display normally. Which can prove the file is not corrupted .
