I'm using wicd
in linux
under XFCE4
, because that desktop environment doesn't come with its own network connection manager. Actually, I want a GUI, so I use wicd-gtk
and sometimes wicd-curses
. I make use of four DNS servers, but wicd
only allows three to be entered.
Does anyone know if it's possible to get wicd
to make use of more DNS servers than dns1
, dns2
, and dns3
? I know that it's a python program and I can enhance it to do what I want. However, I prefer not to play around with a program like that, unless it's absolutely necessary.
If this isn't possible, does anyone know of any other network connection manager software that can run under XFCE4 in a GUI (either X-Windows or curses) which will allow me to enter more than three DNS servers?
Thank you in advance.
