What does 'flags' mean in 'ifconfig -a'?

I just wondering that what flags=xxxxx,xxx means from commands ifconfig -a output.



Could you please explain what does it meaning and when this context change



sjopen1@/> ifconfig -a
en2: flags=e084863,10080
inet 172.16.10.99 netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast 172.16.10.255
inet 172.16.10.41 netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast 172.16.10.255
tcp_sendspace 131072 tcp_recvspace 65536 rfc1323 0
