Gap Mills is an unincorporated community in Monroe County, West Virginia, United States. Gap Mills is located on West Virginia Route 3 east of Union. The community was established in 1775. Gap Mills has a post office with ZIP code 24941.[2]


The community was so named on account of mills and a mountain gap near the original town site.[3]
