How to restrict access to terminal
Clash Royale CLAN TAG#URR8PPP
I have a Raspberry Pi running Raspbian graphical desktop which I have locked down to restrict the user to a limited number of applications. Everything has been removed from the menu except these applications. I want to add a menu option for LXTERMINAL but I need it to prompt for a password to allow access.
How can I restrict access to an approved user account. I have tried "sudo -u username lxterminal" but this does not restrict access to an authenticated user.
linux sudo

Please explain what you mean by 'unapproved/unauthenticated' account? I think the easiest way would be to create a group with allowed users and modify the permissions of the LXTERMINAL executable.
