I would like my shortcut keys to switch virtual desktops (Ctrl+Alt+Up/Down arrows) to work in the host OS window manager (Gnome) while I am in a Virt-Viewer window. The current behavior is that they are passed through to the guest. I can find no way to control or change this. I know I can press the Virt-Viewer escape keys (left Control+Alt) to make keystrokes apply to the host, but this is annoying and inconvenient.

Is there a way to tell Gnome or Virt-Viewer to keep these keystrokes in the host OS and not pass them through to the guest OS?
