Mate panel keeps the CPU at 100%

I just upgraded the tumbleweed version and everything goes well so far, but a couple of days ago the mate session started to be unresponsive and the top and bottom panels freezes. I disabled the composition via mate-tweak but the system keeps at 100%.



When top is run it shows that mate-panel its at 100% CPU usage



 100.0 15.52 16:08.75 mate-panel


mate-panel is then killed, but sometimes this can be killed and other it reloads immediately and get at 100% again
