I was installing and removing several versions of Intellij Idea. Something gone wrong and I ended up with old, dangling entry in the menu as shown in the picture below.
As You can can see there are two entries. One of them is dangling and points to nothing. Under ~/.local/share/applications i found *.desktop file named jetbrains-idea-ce.desktop with contents:
[Desktop Entry]
Version=1.0
Type=Application
Name=IntelliJ IDEA Community Edition
Icon=/opt/idea-IC-182.4323.46/bin/idea.png
Exec="/opt/idea-IC-182.4323.46/bin/idea.sh" %f
Comment=Capable and Ergonomic IDE for JVM
Categories=Development;IDE;
Terminal=false
StartupWMClass=jetbrains-idea-ce
The question is: why there is second entry in my menu (named "Idea") and where can I find configuration file for it?
linux-mint cinnamon .desktop
