I'm trying to put ubuntu (or any linux) on a lenovo miix 320-10ICR. I have followed https://esc.sh/blog/linux-on-lenovo-miix-320/ since most posts here and there point to it. It does not work (yet !!). Remarks:
[a] While editing the booting sequence,
(1) "set gfxpayload=keep" is already present.
(2) "linux /casper/vmlinuz.efi" is "linux /casper/vmlinuz".
(3) The line "initrd /casper/initrd.lz" is present but absent from the tutorial.
[b] I tried to modify "vmlinuz" to "vmlinuz.efi" by using isomaster but it does not seem to create a proper image.
[c] I tried to boot on ubuntu 16.04 : it has "vmlinuz.efi". But it does not work either: I see some muddled output with a frozen image and nothing else.
Many thanks for any help or pointers. best, Olivier

I don't have a complete answer yet but I managed to install Linux Mint 19 with a dual boot with W**10. I just put the iso on a usb stick, and did not modify anything in the boot command. I had to close/open the lid several times, and tried booting several times till I obtained a running system. I installed (in rotated mode ! And the return-key was not working: a tap on the touchpad did the trick). Then reboot, and go to Parameters / Screen and rotate it. Webcam is not working yet and neither is the sound, but it is an essentially sound system and stable as far as I can see.
