Somehow I created 2 subvolumes with the name @boot
, and I am getting some pretty strange results when I do the following commands:
$ sudo btrfs subvolume list /
ID 257 gen 11317 top level 5 path @root
ID 258 gen 11317 top level 5 path @var
ID 259 gen 11318 top level 5 path @home
ID 260 gen 11235 top level 5 path @snapshots
ID 261 gen 384 top level 5 path @tmp
ID 262 gen 11235 top level 257 path @boot
ID 263 gen 11235 top level 5 path @boot
ID 267 gen 11235 top level 258 path @var/lib/machines
There are two subvolumes named boot, but when I do a
$ sudo btrfs subvolume list /boot
ID 257 gen 11317 top level 5 path @root
ID 258 gen 11319 top level 5 path @var
ID 259 gen 11319 top level 5 path @home
ID 260 gen 11235 top level 5 path @snapshots
ID 261 gen 384 top level 5 path @tmp
ID 262 gen 11235 top level 257 path @root/@boot
ID 263 gen 11235 top level 5 path @boot
ID 267 gen 11235 top level 258 path @var/lib/machines
The @root/@boot
is not even mounted, and I just want to delete it. But I am can't figure out how to delete it by the ID, because I obviously wouldn't want to delete both boot
subvolumes.
Any tips?
