I've just solved a problem with my laptop that slowed it down to come out with this problem that sometimes loops to infinity so Debian can't boot.

Log

Around 2 out of 5 times I boot the laptop it will get stuck in this loop. If not, everything will work perfectly.

This is a fresh Debian instiallation, but with the pci=nomsi boot parameter to solve other problem that made the Debian slow down. Anyway I think that the loop of Login Service happend also before the pci=nomsi parameter.

The laptop is an Asus K541U, i7-6500U

  • Try looking into using systemd-analyze to analyse the issues and also to change the systemd debug settings.

  • I don't understand what can help with knowing the time it takes to launch. How am I supposed to use systemd-analyze when it gets stuck in the loop? @RamanSailopal
