I have a bunch of PDF files identified by an ID. Some files have the same ID and I'd like to add a tag on the PDF file itself, not the metadata.

For example: file1_1.pdf file1_5.pdf would merge both PDFs and add a little image 1 and 2 (incremental) to a corner, like a page... is this possible? I know it doesn't sound that clever, but I was asked to do this and I have no idea how.
