Arch Linux - wireless configuration [closed]

I just installed Arch Linux, and I'm in the process of setting up my WiFi. The problem is that I'm missing many utilities necessary for setup. When I run wifi-menu, I get Please install 'dialog' to use wifi-menu. Obviously, I can't use pacman to get any packages from the web, because I have no connection. When I run dhcpcd, I get sending commands to master dhcpcd process. ifconfig isn't on the system either.

  • @Fox how would you go about downloading the packages elsewhere, and then using pacman -U?

  • @Fox I've installed the package on my USB stick, and I've plugged it into my Arch machine, where would the location of the USB be?

wifi-menu needs dialog to display its menu, you should choose method to connect to internet first, then prepare all needed packages when install arch.
