Ubuntu server 18.04.1, fresh install, keeps printing “aer_…” lines to tty, every 10 minutes or so. Why and how to silence it?

A fresh install of Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS server keeps printing stuff in console, both before and after logging in. It looks like this:
[ 1475.344317] pci 0000:00:00.0: aer_status: 0x00000080, aer_mask: 0x00000000
[ 1475.345586] pci 0000:00:00.0: aer_layer=Data Link Layer, aer_agent=Receiver ID
The same 2 lines (except numbers in brackets) over and over, about once in 10 minutes. (The interval is not the same, sometimes longer sometimes shorter).
I found that AER is supposed to report PCIe errors. However the above messages don't look like errors. So what's going on? Anything needs fixing in my system? Or otherwise is there a way to silence this output?
Thanks!
