I upgraded to Tails 3.9 which has a pre-installed utility for opening VeraCrypt volumes. I have a GPT-formattted hard disk with several partitions, one of which is encrypted with VeraCrypt.

When I try to open it with the new VeraCrypt utility, it guesses my encrypted partition, because it's filled with "random data". When I try to decrypt it this way, it throws an error code 2.

Also, there's an option to unlock it with Disks & Partitions utility. I can even choose my partition there (hopefully the description is good :D). When I try to decrypt it through this utility, I get error code 5.
