Strange bug in thunar file manager using XQuartz

I have a strange bug using XQuartz. On my server machine I installed Debian xfce; when I open the file manager thunar.
If i try to copy a file, the 'paste' option remains gray, as if it did not copy anything.
How can I fix it?
