So I'm brand new to Linux (2 days into it). I'm OK with most things so far but I'm having an issue when it comes to running tensorflow. The problem seems to arise because I have libcudnn.so.7 of cudnn and tensorflow wants version 8:

ImportError: libcublas.so.8.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I've followed the instruction on the tensorflow website that states I should install cudnn v6.0. So I downloaded the cuDNN v6.0 Library for Linux listed under Download cuDNN v6.0 (April 27, 2017), for CUDA 8.0. Which as, far as I can tell, the right version (the tensorflow website states installation of cuda 8). I have tried the cudnn v7.0 as well with a similar error.

I'm not sure if these things will matter, but I'm using Mint Cinnamon and my graphics card is NVidia GTX 1080ti.

P.S. I have no idea if I've tagged this question correctly, please feel free to edit as you see fit!
