Since I update from Mint 18.2 to 18.3 the file search function in the cinnamon desktop menu is disabled
How to get back this very useful feature?
Before I could write the beginning of a filename and Mint showed me the files which include these letters in my home dir.
Now this only works for installed programs.
Thanks in advance.
